The Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences (KMoAS) is responsible for encouraging and organizing the arts in Meridies. The KMoAS must be a subscribing member of the SCA, Inc or reside at an address where a subscribing member lives. The KMoAS is required to read and understand Corpora, Kingdom Law, and the Arts and Science Handbook. The KMoAS must submit a letter of introduction to the Crown, their Heirs, the Kingdom Seneschal, and the Society Minister of Arts and Sciences.
The KMoAS keeps reports from all RRD's, DMIR, Guilds, and Kingdom Arts and Sciences Faire. He or she must also maintain all correspondence to and from the office and any newsletters received. The KMoAS reports regularly to the Crown, their Heirs, the Kingdom Seneschal, and the Society Miniters of Arts and Sciences. :In addition, the KMoAS is the fairecrat for the annual Kingdom Arts and Science Faire. Kingdom A&S Web Deputy: Must be a subscribing member and send a letter of introduction to the KMoAS. Must is required to read and understand Corpora, Kingdom Law, and the Arts and Science Handbook. Act as the liaison between the KMOAS and the Kingdom Web Minister. Maintain current web information regarding officer contact, the arts, and the Laurels. Information Resources Deputy: Must be a subscribing member and send a letter of introduction to the KMoAS. Must is required to read and understand Corpora, Kingdom Law, and the Arts and Science Handbook. Collect articles, resources and other information on arts and sciences.Report to the KMOAS regarding information added to the collection since the last report. Deputy of Brewing and Vintning : Must be a subscribing member and send a letter of introduction to the KMoAS. Must is required to read and understand Corpora, Kingdom Law, and the Arts and Science Handbook. Act as Steward for the KASF and other appropriate duties. Whenever a new Regional Reporting Deputy (RRD) receives his or her office, a letter of introduction should be submitted to the KMoAS. RRDs must be subscribing members or reside at an address where a subscribing member lives. A subscribing member, for this purpose, receives Popular Chivalry, the Kingdom newsletter.The RRD is required to be a subscribing member of the SCA, Inc. The RRD is also required to read and understand Corpora, Kingdom Law, and the Arts and Science Handbook.
The Regional Reporting Deputy (RRD) is required to send a quarterly report to the KMoAS that contains a summary of each local report, a directory of the local ministers in his or her region, an ongoing list of ministers who have not reported, and recommendations about a group or its officer. The Regional Reporting Deputies send their reports directly to the Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences.

The Local Minister of Arts and Sciences is the officer responsible for promoting, enhancing, and educating the populace on the arts and sicences of the SCA time period. This is accomplished through encouragement, communication, recognition, reporting, and serving as a resource. The Local Minister of Arts and Sciences (LMoAS) must be subscribing member or reside at an address where a subscribing member lives. A subscribing member, for this purpose, receives Popular Chivalry, the Kingdom newsletter.
Whenever a new LMoAS receives his or her office, a letter of introduction should be submitted to the appropriate regional deputy. LMoAS are required to read and understand Corpora, Kingdom Law, and the Arts and Science Handbook. The letter of introduction should include an acknowledgement that you have read and understood those three important articles. The Arts and Science Handbook contains more detailed information about what information is needed in the letter of introduction. The Arts and Science Handbook also contains more detail about the LMoAS office, including helpful tips.
Regular reports are required of each LMoAS. The Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences (KMoAS) uses the information in these reports to keep the Crown and the Society A&S Officers informed and to make decisions that relate to the handling of A&S matters in Meridies. A&S Reports are important to the Society for Creative Anachronism because they can help defend out nonprofit states as an "educational organization devoted to study of the Middle Ages and Renaissance." It also helps the KMoAS and his/her deputies to understand the needs and interests of the populace regarding A&S.
